10 Dangerous Movie Scenes You Won’t Believe Didn't Kill Anyone

2. Apocalypse Now: The Whole Film Is Hell

No entry can really capture how life-threatening making Apocalypse Now was. If you want an in-depth look at how many times cast and crew nearly came to their end, watch Hearts Of Darkness.

Unlike other entries on this list there is no one scene that captures the horror... the horror of working on this film.

The film was shot in the Philippines and filming was stalled due to President Marcos having to fight anti-government rebels. The cast and crew would contract a whole menu of tropical diseases. Dennis Hopper refused to work unless he had cocaine.

Director Francis Ford Coppola, who was under a ludicrous amount of stress, suffered a seizure and Martin Sheen even had a heart attack during filming.

It's amazing that through the amount of drugs, diseases, internal conflicts, micro wars, heart attacks, seizures and typhoons that not one person actually died during the making of this crazy, albeit amazing, film.
