9. Lobo

This one has been mentioned before, too. Not long ago director Brad Peyton (who helmed the Rock-starrer Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) was attempting to bring the Main Man to the silver screen with Johnson in the title role. The Rock did mention a certain degree of "bad assery" in that tweet of his, too, and Lobo's just about as badass as they come. A relatively minor character in the comics, Lobo is a kind of bounty-hunting space-biking alien who serves as a mercenary for whoever will pay him the most. He's smart, he's powerful, and he's brutal, but most of all he's relentless; if there's a price on your head and Lobo hears about it, you're going down and he's getting paid. Despite being attached at one point to this particular character, Dwayne Johnson rarely does such villainous turns. He would certainly be terrifying in the role, but I see bigger things in the future for the DC-Rock contingent. Plus, the rumor that Jason Momoa is also attached to Batman vs. Superman may suggest the already-dreadlocked actor for the role of Lobo instead of Johnson. Chances Dwayne Johnson will play Lobo: Fair, but don't bet the farm on it.
