10 Deleted Scenes That Would Have Ruined Their Movies

6. "Made For Each Other" Ending - Blade Runner

Sticking with Ridley Scott for a second of his science fiction masterpieces, Blade Runner's chequered history has seen it released in a number of cuts of variable quality, with the most recent Final Cut considered to be the definitive version. Earlier cuts were considerably different, not least with the dreadful inclusion of Deckard's voice over, which even Harrison Ford thought was pretty terrible at the time he recorded it. Still, it could have been even worse - one scene filmed for the movie's ending had replicant Rachel telling Deckard "You and I were made for each other" as they drive off towards the horizon. It would be hard to come up with something more contrived and Hollywood if they tried, and fortunately it was omitted from even the initial theatrical release. Watch it for yourself to see why. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8t9_081E9Y
