Appeared in: Aladdin (1992) Part of what makes Aladdin such a great Disney film is the eclectic selection of supporting characters. There's the silent but loveable Carpet, the gratingly-voiced parrot Iago and, of course, the late Robin Williams' brilliant Genie. Yet villainous vizier Jafar should not be forgotten. Indeed, while Jafar also wants to do such unsavoury things as force Princess Jasmine to marry him and enslave the Genie, you can't help but hope he gets away with his main scheme - ruling over Agrabah. If you think about it, the bumbling yet kindly Sultan really is a terrible king, while he enjoys a pampered, decadent lifestyle in his palace most of his subjects - including Aladdin - live in squalor. Although he might be a power-mad fiend, you cant help thinking that Jafar couldn't do a worse job of it than him.
