10 Dream Directors Who Would Nail The Next Bond Film
7. Patty Jenkins
Jenkins expertly handled some incredible set pieces in Wonder Woman, most notably the battle on the beaches of Themyscira, and also has experience handling the pressure of adapting a widely loved character.
She created the best movie in Warner Brothers' current DC cinematic universe, and could bring her ability to present huge scale, and also intimate moments, to James Bond.
Some of the most compelling moments of Wonder Woman were the one-to-one conversations between Diana and Steve, and their romance blossomed over time without feeling forced or farcical. Bond's next outing relies on a director being able to portray his love for Léa Seydoux's Dr. Swann and show the effect losing her could have on the hardened spy.
It would also be a groundbreaking moment to have a female director take on the British spy's story, offering a fresh perspective and a contemporary depiction of the character for a modern, feminist audience.
