2. T-800 - Terminator 2
We expect cyborgs to be intelligent, infallible machines that can assess every situation to a perfect mathematical level of detail and probability, but that didn't stop the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from nearly screwing up his whole mission right at the home straight. After a long chase sequence, the T-1000 (Robert Patrick) gets drenched in liquid nitrogen, freezing him in place. Arnie then blasts him to pieces after letting out his signature taunt, "Hasta la vista, baby", which allows the T-1000 to reform as the steel mill they're in melts his frozen body. While the T-1000 was going to melt anyway, would it not have made sense to quickly pick him up and lob him in the molten steel before he could properly thaw out? The T-800 should have been able to calculate that shooting him was a terrible idea, but apparently it suffered a badass overload and did it anyway.
