7. A Clockwork Orange - Death By Penis Sculpture
What happens? Raving sociopath Alex and his ultra-violent gang of "droogs" break into a woman's house and crush her skull with a giant penis-shaped sculpture after mercilessly taunting her.
Why is it hilarious? An argument could definitely be made for it being Kubrick's intention all along that this scene be humorous. The man had a morbid sense of humour and I wouldn't put it past him. But the point still stands that at the time of release, this was one of many scenes in the film that shocked audiences and disgusted the general public. Nowadays, in our violence and sex spoiled society though, the thought of murdering someone with a penis sculpture is pretty damn funny and this one always gives me a chuckle.
