When a slightly dimwitted amateur boxer from Philadelphia gets a surprise shot at fighting for the heavyweight championship he becomes a true inspiration to us all. Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is motivation for anybody who ever had a dream of overcoming immeasurable odds to prove everybody wrong. Throughout the movie we go on an emotional roller-coaster with The Italian Stallion. We laugh with him, we cry with him and most importantly we cheer for him. However, no moment is quite as inspirational as the infamous running scene. What starts off as a normal workout routine turns into pandemonium when, what feels like the entire city of Philadelphia, joins him on his spirited jog.
