10 Family-Friendly Movies With Ridiculously High Body Counts

6. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith

Body count: 115 It's hard to believe that the original Star Wars trilogy was once rated U and deemed to be suitable for all - in the opening scene alone of A New Hope dozens of people are shot to death as they battle for control of the spaceship. That the original trilogy was later rated PG is perhaps not surprising, nor was the decision to give Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith the same rating - for one thing, Anakin Skywalker's dismemberment certainly warranted it. Anakin might perhaps take some comfort in the fact that he led the pack when it came to killing, contributing 24 kills to the film's total body count. An additional miscellaneous 87 droids and a single Boga were also dispatched in Revenge Of The Sith, although since droids technically don't have a soul they can't really be described as "dead" in the correct meaning of the term.
