10 Female Superheroes Who Should Get Their Own Film

Let's change gears for a second, because bringing Rat Queens to the big screen would not be a superhero film as we know them. It's more like what would happen if the talented ladies from Saturday Night Live decided to get together and become a superhero team and, you know, film it. Basically, the Rat Queens are a bunch of foul-mouthed Dungeons and Dragons characters who spend their days fighting evil (sort of) in a fantasy world, and while they're certainly not traditional superheroes defending Metropolis or whatever, they're fun and surprisingly relatable.

Rat Queens are fairly new on the scene, so they're not among the comic book characters who are universally beloved by virtue of having been around since the 1940s, but they did win the Eisner Award for best new comic book series in 2014, if that means anything. Basically, if you are the kind of person who low key monitors the films you watch to see if they pass the Bechdel Test, this is a comic book adaptation that you deserve.
