3. Atlantis (DC/Marvel)
Whether it's Aquaman's home in DC Comics or the residence of Marvel's Namor, it would be superb to see Atlantis brought to life in a live action movie. DC's Atlantis is a continent which is located in the North Atlantic Ocean and is one of the earliest and most highly advanced cultural societies on Earth. It sank beneath the surface of the ocean thanks to the impact of a large skull-shaped meteor slamming in to the Earth nearly 10,000 years ago. Similarly, Marvel's Atlantis is a small, ancient continent which is located in the Atlantic Ocean between North America and Europe, which sank beneath the sea approximately 20,000 years ago due to the impact of an attack on Earth by the Celestials. Each Atlantis is home to a plethora of key characters, such as Namor and Namorita (Marvel) and Aquaman and Mera (DC) who would come with the territory, while DC's Atlantis is home to the five lost cities of Bazilia, Hy-Brasil, Poseidonis, Thierna Na Oge and Tritonis, while Marvel's Atlantis house locations such as Maritanis, New Atlantis, Thakorr, Deluvia, Nautikon and the Temple of Neptune - all visually astounding places that would look great in live action.
