Are you sick and tired of tying your own laces and then having them come loose in the rain? I know I am, that's why I got really excited last year when Nike released a replica of the Nike Air Mags from the 89 classic, Back to the Future 2. That film provided us with some of the most ingenious future tech, including the pizza hydrator, the auto-fit jacket and the infamous hover-board, but arguably the best of the lot is the Nike Air Mag shoes with power laces, the incredible self tying shoe laces. Sadly, it was all just a tease and the current Nike Mags didn't include the laces, although hope remained after Nike released a promotional video featuring Doc Brown and his own search for a pair of the shoes. When the Doc asks if these Mags are power laced he is told 'not until 2015,' and so then sets the Delorean to September 8th 2015, thus sending film and shoe fans into a frenzy. Hopefully this isn't just another tease, I guess we'll find out on that date, but in the meantime we'll just have to keep tying our own laces with our hands.
