10 Film Inventions We Wish Were Real

6. Inception - PASIV Dream Machine

I had a strange and wonderful dream last night in which Chris Nolan gave me a suitcase that allowed us to infiltrate the dreams of others and explore their thoughts and minds. It was amazing, I could create my own world within a person's subconscious and extract ideas and information, or even implant some of my own so they'd do my bidding. It was called the PASIV dream machine and was one of the most unique and powerful inventions I had ever seen. And ... Oh, wait, no I didn't, that was just the film Inception, but I swear it felt so real. Still, like a dream, Inception and the PASIV machine are both complicated, convoluted and make little sense, but that didn't prevent either from being brilliant and exciting. Plus, anything that allows me to sleep and considers it to be work is alright in my book. Dream Sharing Could this be the future? Probably not, but I can dream, can't I?
