10 Films President Trump Needs To Watch

3. Pod People

If you’re a Democrat and you’re wondering why Hollywood won’t make a movie about an alien named Trumpy who arrives on Earth and proceeds to wreak havoc….that’s because somebody already did.

Also known as Extra Terrestrial Visitors, Pod People began life as a low-budget horror movie from Spanish auteur Juan Piquer Simon (Pieces), but when E.T. became one of the highest grossing movies of all time, the movie’s sci-fi plot was restructured to resemble Steven Spielberg’s film. Instead of kindly E.T. , though, we get ALF-lookalike Trumpy who can walk across ceilings and make laundry fly through the air. Taken in by a young boy who teaches him how to eat peanuts and solve jigsaw puzzles, Trumpy displays his powers for his newfound friend, leading to the immortal line, “Trumpy! You can do magic things!”

In what remains of the original story, another alien is on a killing spree, and without giving too much away, there’s a case of mistaken identity that causes our young hero to shout “Go away, Trumpy, I HATE YOU! Go Away! We’re not friends anymore!”

In other words, a promising relationship turns sour when Trumpy reveals his true nature. Take note, America.
