10 Films Titles That Had Nothing To Do With The Plot

5. The Long Kiss Goodnight

the long kiss goodnight Another one from great screenwriter Shane Black. This was Black at the peak of his career, selling his script for this film for $3 million and becoming the highest paid writer of that time. While the title itself is fairly catchy, one can't really discern from it that the film was about a normal suburban house wife who finds out she's actually a lethal assassin with a troubled past. Action and comedy ensue in true Shane Black fashion, culminating in an explosive finale. The Long Kiss Goodnight sounds more like a romantic comedy about two people reunited against all odds after a long time apart. Imagine audiences surprise when instead the movie featured a badass Geena Davis mowing down bad guys and Samuel L. Jackson doing what he does best.
