6. Difficult To Hear Dialogue
The music and sound design in Mad Max: Fury Road is yet another component which really brings the action to life - see it in a Dolby Atmos-equipped theatre and the grumbling engines and beefy explosions really shake the viewer to the core. Still, as much fun as it is watching a film comprised almost entirely of cool car chases and action sequences, it would be nice if it was possible to hear the dialogue on top of the explosions. There are a few sequences where the audio mix is balanced in favour of the sound effects to the point where it's difficult to discern what it is the characters are actually saying. Fortunately there are only a couple of moments where this proves to be problematic, but as with Interstellar and the voice of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, not being able to hear potentially crucial lines of dialogue should be something that's sorted in post production.
