10 Funniest Things That Happened During The Making Of Harry Potter
2. Rupert Grint’s Uncontrollable Laughter
Despite the fits of hilarity from his co-star, Rupert Grint will always be the undisputed king when it comes to laughing at the wrong moment. Even in the early days of The Philosopher’s Stone, he often ruined scenes by smiling or giggling when he wasn't supposed to.
But his most notorious bout of laughter occurred in The Deathly Hallows Part 1. When Ron is tasked with destroying Slytherin’s Locket in the Forest of Dean, the Horcrux mentally tortures him by creating demonic forms of Harry and Hermione, who then embrace and start kissing each other in front of Ron.
When creating this scene, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson had to go through several takes of aggressive kissing. Having grown up together, neither of them particularly enjoyed this awkward experience. Rupert Grint, on the other hand, thought the whole thing was hilarious. In fact, he was laughing so much that he was asked to leave the set.
Laughing on camera is one thing, but the fact Rupert managed to ruin several takes without even being filmed is really quite astonishing.
