10 Game Of Thrones Actors Who Could Star In The MCU (And Who They’d Play)
8. Moon Knight - Alfie Allen
When you look at the Marvel heroes who still haven’t arrived in the MCU, you have to feel that if they continue to expand, a Moon Knight solo flick is not too far off. If that’s the case, the MCU could do a lot worse than Alfie Allen.
Allen was in many ways the unsung hero of Game Of Thrones. Along with another actor featured higher up the list, he has one of the most complex roles. Most characters received development and plots other series could only dream of (complaints about the ending not withstanding), but Allen’s Theon had one of the biggest changes throughout the eight seasons.
From a cocky upstart in Season 1, Theon turns rotten as he tries to prove himself to the Ironborn, killing two farm boys and seizing Winterfell. From here, he’s tortured by Ramsay and broken down into Reek, before he rises to become a very different Theon after helping Sansa escape.
Moon Knight is also a role which asks deeper psychological questions and will require an actor to essentially play different parts while playing the same man. Moon Knight is basically an (even more) unhinged Batman, and Alfie Allen suits the role to a tee.
