10 Giant Plot-Holes You Didn’t Notice In 2016’s Biggest Movies

2. Jim Survives...Somehow - Passengers

To be fair, the year's most underwhelming sci-fi blockbuster has its fair share of plot holes, the most egregious of which revolves around Jim (Chris Pratt) being rescued from a grim demise by Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) in the film's third act.

Jim ends up running out of oxygen while tethered outside the ship, so Aurora dons a spacesuit to rescue him, pulling him back to the airlock, getting both him and her out of their suits, dragging him to the medi-bay, placing him in the pod and resuscitating him all in the 4-10 minutes it takes for irreversible brain damage to kick in due to oxygen deprivation.

Consider that every single one of these tasks is rather cumbersome and time-consuming, and it only adds to the absurdity that Jim survived in the end.
