10 Graphic Novels DCEU Fans Must Read

6. Man Of Steel

Dark Knight Returns Thumb
DC Comics

While yet to actually release in graphic novel form until November, Bendis' new take on Superman is shaping up to be a fantastic introduction to the classic comic book character. The former Marvel writer joined DC to pursue his passion of writing Superman, and boy does it come across in this book.

Despite making changes to the origin of the Kryptonian hero, Man of Steel is obviously Bendis' love letter to the character, with the weekly series certainly making the future look even brighter for the writer's stint on the character's main books - Action Comics and, of course, Superman too.

If you're looking for the character at pretty much his best, then this is a great pick. With the series only recently coming to a close it would even be possible to grab all six issues prior to the graphic novel release later this year.
