7. Magnolia
For the majority of Paul Thomas Anderson's 3 hour opus it rains. Numerous characters in the movie even comment on how much its raining "cats and dogs" out there. All these characters are woven together in a final sequence that is threaded by a rainstorm of biblical proportions. In what was the biggest jaw dropping moment in the film, a large rain of frogs falls from the sky. Each character in the film is brought together by this most awkward of meteorological event and we are treated to quite possibly the weirdest yet undeniably witty rainstorms in cinematic history.
