10 Great Movies Starring Breaking Bad Actors You Need To See

2. Jesse Plemons - I'm Thinking Of Ending Things (2020)

The Infiltrator
Netflix

Jesse Plemons is bar-none the most interesting actor working in Hollywood at the moment. Like a young Philip Seymour Hoffman, he has starred in every possible genre over the years, portrayed some seriously tricky characters, and elevates everything he touches, even if the film itself isn't completely on his side (looking at you, Vice).

From 2012's The Master to The Irishman, Other People to The Post, he's already had an impeccable career, but his crowning achievement so far has to be with Charlie Kaufman's challenging psychological drama I'm Thinking of Ending Things.

A tough to film to take in, but a deeply rewarding one all the same, I'm Thinking of Ending Things follows a young woman (Jessie Buckley) as she contemplates her relationship with her boyfriend (Plemons) as they travel to meet his decidedly strange parents (David Thewlis and Toni Collette).

Far from a simple film, the typically Kaufman-esque movie is nonetheless a remarkable showcase for the talents of all the actors involved, particularly Plemons and Buckley.
