3. Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman)

In a movie full of stand out performances and iconic moments Mia Wallace gets the most of them along with Jules Winnfield. Everything about Mia has become iconic in the 18 years since Pulp Fiction came out. The Son of a Preacher Man scene, the cocaine overdose scene, the dance contest at Jack Rabbit Slims, the conversation between Vincent and Mia, Mia's steely, black hair and 50's inspired wardrobe choices. Every minute she is on screen something interesting is happening and that's thanks to Uma Thurman's perfect performance. She plays Mia with just the right amount of cool, sass and sarcasm which causes Tarantino's writing to really shine and, in the hands of a lesser actress, could have just been an annoying or ok character that gets lost amidst all of the amazing roles in Pulp Fiction.
