10 Harry Potter Backstories That Would Be Way Better Than Another Fantastic Beasts Movie
3. Dumbledore’s Youth
Dumbledore’s youth was another backstory featured in The Deathly Hallows. Both Rita Skeeter’s biography and Aberforth’s retelling of what happened to his sister gave fans plenty of interesting details about the great wizard.
Having said that, Dumbledore’s backstory could still make for a great movie – or even a series of movies. His tricky relationship with his brother and sister would carry a lot of dramatic tension, as would the death of his mother and his father’s imprisonment.
Above all, Dumbledore’s time at Hogwarts would be fascinating to witness. His relationships with other students, the conversations he had with his professors, and any possible wrongdoings he may have undertaken would all make for great plot points.
What’s more, Dumbledore was actually born all the way back in 1881, and as such, his time at Hogwarts would offer an insight into the Victorian world of magic – a period that hasn’t yet been explored in the Wizarding World franchise.
