4. Voldemort's A Hugger
Apparently this one was a bit of improv on the part of the actors involved, but there was no way we could leave a moment this infamous off a list like this.
Just prior to the hell raising climax of the entire series, He Who Must Not Be Named/ all round supervillain Voldemort strides over to his followers, chief amongst them the Malfoy clan—and pulls Harry’s classmate and long-time nemesis Draco into the most awkward hug in cinematic history.
It was The English Patient star Ralph Fiennes' genius idea to surprise Draco’s actor Tom Felton with the moment, and whilst his obvious bemusement makes the moment memorably hilarious, it’s not really the chilling scene the books left us expecting.
