10 High Stakes Horrors You've Never Heard Of

7. Kill Theory

After Dark Films

It seems that secluded woodland cabins just aren’t a good place to be under any circumstance, as we’re back there again for the second time this list with ‘Kill Theory.’

After a group trip to the lakehouse goes bad, some friends are faced with the threat that if more than one of them survives until 6am the next morning, they will all die. This is no empty threat, on the TV they are shown a video of one of their friends refusing to commit a murder and being promptly killed herself. Better get killing then!

What begins cooperative soon turns cut-throat (no pun intended) as the friends battle with the choice of survival or martyrdom. One man seems to be the orchestrator of it all: setting out obstacles including tire spikes and bear traps.

With love triangles, a mysterious madman and the ever-impending threat of death, it’s everything you look for in a cabin-in-the-woods horror.
