Angelina Jolie is without a doubt one of the most sought-after and thus highest paid actresses working in the business today (she's also carved herself out a nice directorial career as of late, too).

Her stunning looks, charisma and evident acting chops have made her one of the biggest draws around, as proven last year with Disney's monumentally successful live action Maleficent movie which ended up raking in a whopping $758 million! Jolie received north of $15 million for that role and sources are claiming she could earn up to $20 million if/when there's a sequel. 

Lowest Grossing Film: Hell's Kitchen (1998) - $11k

Before she made it really big in Hollywood - in fact it was the year before she won her Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Girl, Interrupted - Jolie starred in this almost entirely forgotten crime drama abut a bank robbery gone awry that leaves all but one dead. 

The survivor spends five years in jail and upon release finds himself the target of one of the dead criminal's girlfriends who blames him for what happened and wants him killed. It cost $6 million to make but evidently audiences weren't interest as it barely scraped back $11k of that budget. Ouch.
