4. Sandra Bullock - Who Shot Patakango?

Salary: $20 million per movie

Although she had been in plenty of movies before then, notably opposite Sylvester Stallone in Demolition Man, it was 1994's Speed that really made everyone sit up and take notice of Sandra Bullock.

Ever since then she has been a pretty consistent box office draw for audiences (let's just try and forget Speed 2, eh?) in such varied projects as Miss Congeniality, The Blind Side (for which she won an Oscar), The Heat and Gravity.

The latter earned her a whopping $75 million as a result of a back-end deal and she now sits comfortably as one of the few actors who can claim $20 million per film. Not bad, Sandy, not bad at all.

Lowest Grossing Film: Who Shot Patakango? (1989) - $2,300

One of Bullock's first ever roles came in this largely forgotten 1989 coming-of-age drama set in 1950s Brooklyn. Bullocks plays one of a group of teens who deal with racial tensions at their interracial vocational high school.

The film only ever received a release in the U.S. where it barely scraped past $2,300, hardly anything at all when you compared to the big bucks she gets paid and that her movies make now.
