2. Anna Faris
Let's not beat around the bush here: Faris has had a lot of roles in kind of crappy movies. The House Bunny, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, and Yogi Bear. When you're an actress I suppose you take the roles as they come. And that's not to say she hasn't appeared in good movies, either; Faris was great as Serena in Waiting, and as the voice of Sam Sparks in Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. But for Faris, probably the most noteworthy character she's played has been Cindy in the Scary Movie series. And it's not like Faris doesn't know what she's known for, either:
I don't really like to go out to clubs or anything. It's just not my style. I'd much rather go to a dive bar or a local place. I just don't love feeling awful, having to tell people, "Hi, yeah, I was in Scary Movie. Do you mind if we come in?" I mean, it's so awkward.
She's had plenty of time to work on her comedy chops and it's about time she got to star in something a bit more high caliber. Faris deserves better. Hopefully she and Janney will make magic together in "Mom."
