10 Hilarious Hidden Details In Comedy Movies
4. Paul Rudd Wasn't Ready To Fight - Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy
A key thing an actor learns early in their career is to always be prepared.
Try your very best to understand who your character is and how they feel about the world, get your body in a position to convincingly portray them, know your damn lines...oh, and when your director shouts action, make sure you're ready to go.
Unfortunately, Paul Rudd seemed to fall down (quite literally) on that last part when the now-legendary fight scene was being shot for 2004's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
As Will Ferrel's Burgundy calls for the chaos to 'Begin!', all of the various groups - led by comedic superstars such as Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn - proceed to charge at each other with their assorted weapons of choice.
However, if you look closely just as the gangs begin to sprint, you'll spot Rudd slipping straight onto his face as the battle gets underway.
Director Adam McKay clearly felt the slip was too naturally hilarious to leave out of the final cut, but it's easy to miss with so much joyous madness on show throughout this star-studded news team melee.
