10 Hilarious Movies Nobody Expected To Laugh At

Troll 2 is a film with a rather interesting title, given that the film itself contains no trolls whatsoever. Rather, audiences are introduced to Joshua, a young man whose grandfather has recently warned him that the world is inhabited by evil goblins (not to be confused with evil trolls.) These goblins plan to trick humans into eating poisoned food, which will then turn said humans into vegetables, so that the goblins can eat them.

Sure, just growing and eating vegetables would seem a far more straightforward idea, but where’s the fun in that?

Joshua, along with his friends and family, decides to go on holiday to a town called Nilbog. The cleverest of audiences may have noticed that Nilbog is actually the word ‘Goblin’ written backwards, but even if they haven’t, this will be revealed for clarity's sake later on. Shockingly, Nilbog turns out to be the goblins’ kingdom and chaos descends upon the delicious and nutritious group.

There are many reasons to enjoy this delightfully bad cult classic, but the greatest of all is to see Michael Stephenson’s iconic “Oh my god” meme in its original form.
