1. Raleigh - Would You Rather
Iris from 2012's Would You Rather (played by Brittany Snow) is a nice gal. She really wants to pay for her brother Raleigh's leukaemia treatment, so takes the chance to play a mysterious game at a dinner party to earn the money.
Unfortunately, the game makes her do some very, very not nice things.
The premise of this movie is incredibly simple. It's a twisted version of the classic game, where the competitors have to choose between one horrific act or a different horrific act. The choices get harder and harder as the game progresses, eventually leading to Iris murdering one of her fellow competitors in order to win the cash prize.
Not a great thing to do, sure, but at least she can now help Raleigh get better.
Only, upon returning home, Iris discovers to her horror that Raleigh has killed himself. He felt like he was dragging his sister down, without realising that his salvation was only a few minutes away. Now, Iris must not only reconcile with what she has done, but also with the fact that it was all for nothing.
