Jordan Peele clearly loves to reward viewers who pay attention to his movies, and so his new sci-fi horror romp Nope is filled with clever nods to the genre as well as plentiful visual foreshadowing.

While you'll get no points for noticing that Jupe Park's (Steven Yeun) distinctive red jacket has a UFO design on the back, you probably failed to notice the sneakier detail, that the pattern below the UFO actually resembles the true form of the alien, Jean Jacket, revealed at the very end of the movie.

Peele is simply too detail-orientated a filmmaker for this to be a mere coincidence, especially given how specifically the pattern on the jacket mirrors Jean Jacket's jellyfish-like final form fanning out.

When Jupe first showed off his duds in the scene, we of course had no idea the UFO wasn't a spaceship but in fact an organic creature that would be changing its form later on. As Peele has made a habit of doing in all of his films, he hid a massive spoiler right in front of our faces.
