10 Horror Movie Heroes Everyone Forgets About

The 1990s isn't exactly one of the greatest decades for horror, and there was a shift in tone towards edgier, grittier films as opposed to the somewhat schlocky, cheesy horror of the 1980s.

I Know What You Did Last Summer sums up everything about '90s horror. Come on, just look at the cast. Freddie Prinze Jr. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt. It couldn't possibly be any more '90s. Johnny Galecki of The Big Bang Theory shows up, serving as the whodunnit's red herring.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's Julie James is the eventual final girl of the film, after the group are picked off slowly by the world's scariest fisherman. Julie begins putting the pieces together to uncover who is taking them out, discovering it to be the man they ran over, rather than an onlooker or scorned relative of a hit and run victim.

Julie and her boyfriend Ray are the only two left by the film's climax, taking place on a fishing boat, of course. They escape without even killing the fisherman, and take solace in the fact that they haven't killed anyone. Unfortunately though, if they aren't dead, a sequel isn't far behind.
