In The Faculty, a group of high schoolers discover their teachers and classmates have been taken over by intergalactic parasites.

Though the infected hosts look normal, they grow tendrils when they're heavily injured or threatened. As creepy as these images appear, the parasites still maintain a humanoid shape.

However, the same cannot be said about the cosmic invaders' leader. While at the school gym, transfer student, MaryBeth, casually reveals she's the alien queen to her classmates, Stokley and Casey. While the audience try to process this information, MaryBeth abruptly mutates into a tentacled monster and gives chase to the horrified teenagers.

As Stokely and Casey make their way to the swimming pool, the queen dives into the water. When the extra-terrestrial reemerges moments later, it has transmogrified into a colossal monster with a body that blends fish, lizard, and insect features.

Although the parasites have been repeatedly observed in their original form, they were very small, resembling toothy eels. As a result, it was breathtaking to see the alien queen in its true form, especially since the viewers thought she was an innocent student a mere 30 seconds earlier.
