10 Horror Movie Props You Didn't Know Were Reused

4. Psycho's Ford Custom 300 Was Used In Halloween H20

The current canon of the franchise may have wiped the narrative of Halloween H20 out of existence, but that 1998 Halloween offering is still one of more beloved ones entries in the series. Then again, that's maybe not saying much when your bookended by Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers and Halloween: Resurrection.

One particularly nice element of H20, is having Janet Leigh playing the secretary of Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode/Keri Tate. The very real mother of Curtis, it's great to see Leigh doling out sage advice to the Laurie character in this Steve Miner-helmed picture.

Of all of the roles dotted across her lengthy, legendary career, Janet Leigh is most famous for playing doomed Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho back in 1960; a role for which Leigh won a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Oscar.

In a nice nod to Marion and Psycho, when Halloween H20 features Leigh's Norma at her car, it's the same car that her Psycho character bought with stolen money and drove to the Bates Motel in.

That car is a 1957 Ford Custom 300, and Halloween H20 even makes sure that the vehicle has the same NFB 418 number plate as was seen in Psycho.
