10 Horror Movie Sequels That Broke All The Rules

6. The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (2012)

2009's The Human Centipede (First Sequence) earned praise from critics for its daring concept, its basis in reality and its restrained telling of what could've been a very disturbing, explicit tale.

The 2012 sequel, however, pulls back all that restraint, for better or worse.

Laurence R. Harvey stars as a disturbed man obsessed with the 2009 film The Human Centipede. His obsession boils over causing him to snap and create his very own human centipede.

To say that Full Sequence is a strong contender for one of the most disturbing films ever made is no exaggeration. While the first installment received positive notices for its somewhat restrained gore, the sequel opts to leave nothing to the viewers imagination...

Here everything is shown in graphic detail, from the intricate surgery sequences, to downright vile scenes of defecation and purging... Full Sequence truly lives up to that name and delivers depravity that mainstream cinema usually shies away from.

What is so often missed with this sequel is the meta message it delivers too, as director Tom Six uses Full Sequence as a cautionary tale of how certain films may influence a disturbed mind. Rather bravely, Six uses his previous movie as the trigger for our antagonist's vile experiments.

Full Sequence is certainly not for the casual horror fan, it takes a strong stomach to view this twisted tale.
