Ever since film fans caught their first glance of Nicolas Cage sporting dumb, fake vampire teeth back in 1989's Vampire's Kiss, many have pondered the prospect of Cage going all-in on a vampire movie.

Well, for those such folk, they're in luck as the legendarily erratic star is soon to vamp things up in Renfield. And not just will Cage be playing any ol' bloodsucker, mind, for the Academy Award winner will be playing the most famous vampire of them all, Count Dracula.

Of all the films featured on this list, Renfield is the one looming largest on the horizon, with it set to receive a worldwide release at the turn of the month as of this writing. While one might think Cage as Dracula would be the star attraction - and it still might be - the actual headline act of the film is Nicholas Hoult as the titular R.M. Renfield. For those unaware, Renfield is a character who has served as Drac's long-standing servant across plentiful Dracula movies. Here, Hoult's iteration of Renfield finds himself falling in love with a traffic cop played by the ever-brilliant Awkwafina in New Orleans, all as his boss - as in, Vlad the Impaler - berates him and insists he carries out his bidding.

Amazingly, the early footage of Renfield also has plentiful shots copied from the classic Bela Lugosi-starring Dracula pictures of the 1930s, which only adds further to the anticipation of this Chris McKay-helmed offering.
