10 Horror Movies Where An Actor Plays Multiple Characters

Well, this movie was an utterly obvious shoo-in for the top spot, as the entire gimmick of the flick has every actor pulling double duty.

For anyone unfamiliar with Jordan Peele's Us (if that's even possible), the film centres on a family who find themselves relentlessly stalked by their exact doubles. Thus, it's safe to say that there's a lot of multi-roling going on here.

Here's a list of a few of the actors who play multiple roles in this film, Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, Evan Alex, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Elizabeth Moss, Anna Diop, Tim Heidecker and the list goes on.

The movie's villains are known as the Tethered, and they are (spoiler alert) genetic clones of the American populace that lack souls, turning them into hollow husks. Naturally, the need to have multiple versions of each character means the actors need to play two roles, one regular person and one Tethered.

These evil doppelgangers are given subtle visual changes to differentiate them, but don't worry; they also wear red jumpsuits. The movie is a full-on tour de force in using the same actors twice.
