After penning Superbad, Pineapple Express, and The Watch, it wasn't 100% clear what Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were going to do next, but few of us had science-fiction comedy horror This Is The End on our bingo cards.

Written and directed by Rogen and Goldberg, and adapted from their comedy horror short Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse, the film stars Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, and Craig Robinson (plus just about everyone else from the Judd Apatow comedy universe) as themselves. Stuck in an LA mansion following the rapture, the friends have to try and survive with basically no life skills and no natural resources. Murders, exorcisms, demonic encounters, and Channing Tatum sex slaves are squeezed in between the gags and usual shenanigans.

Now, while the whole team behind this one is known for their comedy, we all have a pretty strong sense that pretty much everyone is going to die in the film. Because, you know, it is The End; there are not many people who can come out of the apocalypse in one piece.
