10 Horror Movies Where You Know Nearly Everyone Will Die

4. I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013)

Nobody asked for the I Spit On Your Grave reboot series, and even fewer people requested sequels. Yet, Steven R. Monroe plunges us back into this world with I Spit on Your Grave 2, which actually has nothing to do with the first one, but is merely an excuse to do all the things we expect of these films.

2 takes up a new story in Bulgaria, where New York City model Katie Carter (Jemma Dallender) has been brought - drugged, unconscious, and somehow undetected - so she can be the plaything of the local degenerate scene. After some pretty lengthy assault and torture sequences, Katie makes her escape and returns in full force to give her kidnappers a taste of their own medicine.

The violence is often unpleasant and shocking in its graphic nature, but it's not like we didn't know where this was headed. R*pe-revenge horror: it's kind of in the name.

A sequel to the reboot, in a series where the norm is for everyone but the final girl to die a grisly, sexualised death, anyone sitting down to I Spit On Your Grave 2 knows what they're in for and is well and truly across the detail. Plot spoilers aren't really the point.
