10 Huge Marvel Movie Details We've Learned From Ant-Man's Press Tour

2. Black Panther's Role In Captain America: Civil War

Black Panther is a movie comic book fans have been desperate to see for years now, and while Spider-Man joining the MCU has resulted in a slight delay, T'Challa will finally reach the big screen in 2018. Before then, he'll be seen in Captain America: Civil War, but he won't have been serving as Wakanda's national hero for all that long, if at all at this point. In fact, Kevin Feige revealed that he's only just taken on the mantle because his father is getting older. The Marvel boss refused to reveal whether that means moviegoers won't actually see him in costume at this stage, but as most suspected, it is indeed the events of Avengers: Age Of Ultron that cause Black Panther to insert himself into the outside world. He'll be something of a middle man according to Feige, as T'Challa will serve as "fresh eyes who wasn€™t embedded with the Avengers and who has a very different point of view than either Tony or Steve." Rumours point to Black Panther coming to blows with Steve Rogers at some point though, so perhaps that answers whose side he's on even if Feige won't!
