7. Joker Brand X Commercial

Joker TV adseven There have been plenty of examples of the villain attempting to hold something to ransom. This is the one where the villain reveals he just wants to cause havoc and death. But he€™s going to announce it first in a supermarket set and then in a deck chair with a stuffed seagull. One of the scriptwriters from Brazil, Charles McKeown, was involved in script revisions and this scene does feel like something from Terry Gilliam, with an attempt to sell something that will kill you. It is also a reference to the Joker high-jacking media from radio to television, which he€™s been doing since his first story.

6.The Batwing

Batwingsix It would be easy to expect the Batmobile to be used for the third act. Instead we got something that links itself to the Batman logo and the Bat signal for the shot where it flies in front of the moon, before diving into the streets of Gotham. There is no real reason for that to happen other than aesthetics but it is certainly a great moment. Afterwards you do wonder how Batman knew that he was going to have to get rid of balloons filled with poison gas. This is before his character suddenly became prepared for everything imaginable.
