Throughout his life, James Cameron has been married five times, to five different spouses. These spouses have included producer Gale Anne Hurd, actor Linda Hamilton, and his current partner Suzy Amis. Cameron's third wife, Kathryn Bigelow, has since become one of Hollywood's biggest directors thanks to hits like The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty. During the 82nd Academy Awards in 2010, Cameron and Bigelow were in direct competition with each other. Both were nominated for the two most prized awards: the best picture and best director awards.
