10 Important MCU Details That Are Almost Never Mentioned
4. What Went Down During Peter Parker's Spider Incident
Upon introducing everyone's favourite Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man to the MCU back in 2016, Marvel Studios made the ballsy call to not make their audience sit through yet another origin story highlighting how exactly Peter Parker obtained his unmistakable Spidey powers.
Outside of the odd one-liner mention of being bitten in the likes of Homecoming and No Way Home - and even via Daily Bugle TikTok accounts - the MCU dedicates very little time to covering the spider bite ground most Spider-fans are very much aware of.
And the same can also be said of another important Spider-feature; that being the death of Parker's Uncle Ben. Though again alluded to, but in a far more subtle manner, throughout the MCU Spider-trilogy, Ben's death is never explicitly mentioned or cited as a key motivation for Peter becoming an eventual Avenger.
Outside of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man referencing his own Uncle Ben's death in No Way Home, the character hasn't even had his name uttered in this corner of the multi-verse. So, for all we know, Ben may still be very much alive and kicking, ready to step into the Aunt May void left in the wake of the game-changing most recent MCU Spidey flick.
