In X-Men: The Last Stand, a group of mutants led by Magneto are feeling a bit unhappy about a new "cure" that can permanently remove their special abilities. For some mutants, it's a godsend, as their mutations are more physical in nature, but for others, they see it as insulting.

Magneto manages to rally a group of incredibly powerful mutants to assault the compound where the cure is being produced from a young mutant who has the ability to negate other mutations, and it's all-out war. The people defending the facility fire off darts containing the vaccine, which works immediately.

Getting one of those darts into Magneto is a near-impossibility, due to his ability to control metal, even the small amount that a needle would contain. Fortunately, Magneto can't keep his attention focused on everything at all times, which leaves an opening for Beast.

Almost out of the blue (pun definitely intended), Beast leaps up from behind Magneto, and slams four of the darts into his chest, stopping him in his tracks. Magneto lost everything that made him who he was, and it happened in an instant, taking him out of the fight.
