8. Black Widow And Hawkeye Should've Picked Up Alien Weaponry
As everyone never fails to point out, Hawkeye and Black Widow are like the read-headed stepchildren of the Avengers team. Sure, they're awesome, but they're not superhumanly awesome like the rest of their cohort. So while you see Thor firing lightning through a portal and eviscerating thousands, Tony Stark blowing up a flying leviathan from the inside, Hulk beating the everloving snot out of a Chitauri cohort or (to a lesser extent) Cap saving boatloads of civilians and taking an incredible amount of punishment, your archer-mastery and pistol-shooting looks decidedly pedestrian by comparison. To be fair, they manage to counter this accusation of comparative uselessness by having Hawkeye act as the groups eyes and they give Black Widow the task of closing the portal, but in the meantime, their asskicking efforts are decidedly more muted. He's using medieval technology, and she's using dainty-looking pistols it's hardly Mjolnir or Stark's walking arsenal. So really, you've got to ask the question why didn't they pick up an alien weapon at any point? They've obviously more powerful, after all. I understand that Hawkeye is wedded to his arrows and some can be pretty explodey, but he could've thought to nab one on his way up to the tower so he's not so catastrophically unarmed when his quiver runs empty. As for Black Widow, she's got no excuse.
