10 Major Movie Spoilers Of 2015 We Already Know About
3. Kyle Reese Is Back - Terminator: Genisys
The Terminator franchise often feels like it resembles the killer robots on which it is based - it keeps coming back, relentless and unstoppable, and each time it feels like it's lost a little part of it which made it so special. James Cameron knocked the ball out of the park with the ultra violent original then upped his game with the action-packed sequel, but ever since then it has felt like it's been running out of steam. Still, bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger back for the latest "reboot" Terminator: Genisys, is certainly a step in the right direction - he's set to appear as a T-800 once again, albeit with an aged exoskeleton - in a story which is said to be part reboot and part remake of the original movie. The great news, however, is the return of franchise favourite Kyle Reese, this time played by Jai Courtney. As the right hand man - and father - of leader of the resistance, Reese is one of the best characters in the series, and one who has been sorely underutilized. Hopefully it'll give Courtney a chance to redeem himself from the mess that was A Good Day To Die Hard - although let's face it, the team behind Terminator: Genisys would have to work pretty hard to make their film even more of a mess. With John Connor set to return as well it's looking unlikely that will happen.
