This Easter egg was extremely obscure, but it was so creative and so strategically placed that it must be pointing towards a villain who has long been touted for inclusion in the DC Cinematic Universe. During the scenes in which the World Engine was terraforming Earth, just prior to when Superman destroyed it, three lights appeared in a particular formation on its undercarriage. Only keen DC comic book fans would have realised that this was the symbol of Brainiac and the fact that they appeared within an existing Kryptonian machine would suggest that he's going to be a Kryptonian A.I. in this franchise - perhaps in the first Justice League movie - just like he was in the Superman animated series.
