10 Marvel Cinematic Universe Theories Better Than What's In The Movies

1. Nick Fury Is Really Jules Winnfield

A lot of the theories here have been very serious, but this is one it would have been amazing to see pay off in some way. The suggestion is that Nick Fury is secretly Samuel L. Jackson's iconic character from Pulp Fiction, Jules Winnfield.

It all started after Fury's fake tombstone in Captain America: The Winter Soldier was shown to read, "The Path of the Righteous Man" - Ezekiel 25:17.

Fans quickly realised that as the same fictional Bible quote Jules liked to recite in Pulp Fiction, so that led to the idea they must be one and the same (Fury being a Pulp Fiction fan was perhaps too...logical!).

Fury being around in Captain Marvel goes some way in debunking this, but it's a theory that came up long before that film was released and one it would have been fun to see confirmed in some way. Instead, we just saw Talos drinking his milkshake in a similar way!

The MCU being connected to the world Tarantino has created is certainly food for thought, though, and this is one of the best fan theories to have done the rounds in recent years.
